My boyfriend is going to stop taking anti depressions, how can i stop him from doing that?

He was taking anti depress-ens because she had all the symptoms and i encouraged it. His dad found out and says he is wimpy and needs to man up. How can I get my boyfriend to stay on the anti depressions.
