I need help in understanding David Peace's Red Riding Quartet!?

I unfortunately missed the C4 series of Red Riding, but have read all four books and am desperately searching for answers - please help! My first question was what happens to Eddie Dunford? I don't ever remember it revealing what happened to him? Apparently he kills himself in the TV version? Other loose ends weren't tied up in my mind and I feel like I need answers before I can move on with my life. So Reverend Laws was The Wolf? And was he helped by Leonard Marsh, George Marsh etc. because they too were paedophiles? What was Jimmy Ashworth's involvement in the whole shenanagins? Was Myshkin 100% innocent? What did John Piggott's letter to Mrs Myshkin and Mrs Ashworth say? How much of a villain was Maurice Jobson? Was it Badger Bill who killed Clare Strachan/Morrison? Who killed Janice Ryan? Did Bob Craven kill himself or was he killed? Did Peter Hunter actually achieve anything whatsoever? Was John Murphy just a villain who got away scot free? Same for Prentice and Alderman? Did the Reverend kill Jack Whitehead? I could go on. I've never been left with so many questions at the end of a book/series of book. Please please help!
