What does a "Certificate of Disposition" mean?

It basically means you paid your debt to society and your case is closed, with no further actions against you. The certificate says your not bad anymore etc. for who it may concern. You would need one if your applying for a license where your asked if you have any criminal convictions. When you submit to a finger print check for example, you would need to produce that certificate for your license record. The finger print check does not say that you finished the sentence and this certificate becomes your record of "basically means you paid your debt to society and your case is closed ..........." In many instances you will need the certificate to get the license
