What would be a nice car for me?

I'm 18 & I never had a car (my parent is vet unfair, she gave my bro a car his sopre year) and I need one before I head off to college even tho its close by home. I'm lookin into the years of 04-07. Probably between 5-6 thousand bucks or a little more. I was lookin into a 06 impala or a 02 chevy avalanche or a 03 Honda accord sdn but on Craigslist ppl be askin TOO much for em when it ain't even worth what they ask for! Anyone kno where else I can look into or what cars on Craigslist? Oh I also live in Kansas & I look into Missouri too. Please let me kno!
