Kickboxing injury should i still train? or rest?

Well ok so i got injured grappling but where its really hurting me is kickboxing i am having trouble kicking or punching i think its muscle strain my question is should i still be training and how do i gauge when i should still be training the injury is in my abs and twisting punching kicking hurts weightlifting does not
